M&A Claims Associate

Claims Associate - W&I - Remote (Europe)

Angove Partners is partnering with a global insurance company, seeking an M&A Claims Associate in Europe.

What is the role?

This role has a focus on M&A insurance claims. The team specialises in Representations & Warranties and Tax Liability insurance.

What will you be doing?

• Autonomously administer and negotiate W&I claims
• Review and respond to incoming enquiries from clients and brokers
• Review and prepare notifications, manage the claims process, consider coverage and deal with settlements
• Negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcome
• Create comprehensive and accurate documents detailing claim facts and coverage issues
• Develop strong relationships with markets
• Advise on policy wording improvements based on insurance law and claims experience

What do you need to apply to this role?

• PQE 2 - 8 years of experience in a W&I Claims position, or a law firm, preferably with experience in M&A Litigation
• Understanding of M&A legal documents (e.g. Sale Agreements, DD reports, data room documents)
• Entrepreneurial with good negotiation skills
