At a Glance

The Maintenance Data Administrator will provide technical support for key equipment, including developing effective strategies and offering guidance on technical quality and equipment performance. Take full ownership of a defined equipment group and build deep, specialized expertise in this field, acting as the company’s final point of technical escalation. Consistently strive to serve as the top-level technical advisor.

What you will do

  • Carry out on‑site inspections and audits, including damage assessment if necessary, and prepare reports as appropriate.
  • Administration and evaluation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Maintenance and further development of maintenance and inspection strategies within H&P CMMS / SAP PM / Oracle EBS.
  • Analysis, optimization and continuous improvement of CMMS data and processes.
  • Processing and management of preventive maintenance (PM) changes.
  • Development and continuous improvement of CMMS documentation guidelines and standards.
  • Data validation and implementation of data integration processes.
  • Support internal and global audits.
  • Technical tender budgeting for land rigs.
  • Administration of costs for new acquisitions, repairs, refurbishment and overhaul of main equipment, including budget planning for tenders.
  • Technical support to Operations (hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting).
  • Support Purchase, Asset & Condition and Project Teams.
  • Administration and updating of maintenance and inspection routines according to manufacturer product information (OEM product information bulletins, retrofits, kits and upgrades as well as overhaul and OEM lists).
  • Provide technical assistance and establish scope of work for general repairs, major repairs and overhauls of Major Drilling Equipment (modification, overhaul, rig‑up and commissioning).
  • Data management of H&P land rigs in terms of technical condition and utilization.
  • Collaboration with Performance Service Teams: analysis of equipment downtime and development of strategic improvement plans.
  • Administration and actualization of strategic spare part lists for Major Drilling Equipment.
  • Support the Manager in preparation, improvement and optimization of business processes.
  • Support colleagues from other departments (tasks to be discussed and agreed separately with the Manager).
  • Participate in projects and take over special assignments as agreed with the Manager.
  • Provide support for special duties within the department and organization as assigned by the Manager.

What you need

  • Relevant experience in the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery and hydraulic systems (e.g., agricultural or construction machinery)
  • Experience with large diesel engines
  • Experience in asset management and maintenance processes
  • Experience with SAP PM and/or Oracle EBS is highly desirable
  • Experience in the maintenance or operation of drilling rigs is an advantage (career changers are welcome)
  • Project management experience is beneficial
  • Hands‑on mentality
