Manager, Asset Management

Key Role Responsibilities

Monitor and oversee individual investments and overall portfolio performance, critically evaluating existing real estate operations and business plan execution to identify new strategies to drive NOI and maximize returns across the portfolio.

Partners with Operations to deliver key performance metrics to achieve the business plan, including leasing performance, revenue and expense management, and impact to asset returns.

Leads compilation of annual operational and capital budgets and business plans for senior management and capital partners review.

Participates with the Company's senior leaders in routine market review discussions to examine the overall operational and financial results for the asset portfolios, present and justify business plans and makes strategy recommendations.

Actively participates in major capitalization initiatives, acquisitions and dispositions.

Maintains and develop a broad network of industry related resources to support the execution and growth of the organization.

Leads and manage team members; interviewing, hiring, on boarding and developing direct reports and other team members as appropriate and managing their performance in accordance with Company policies, values, and business practices.

Completes various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Role Scope

Based in our Frankfurt, Germany office the role will initially be responsible for portfolios/assets in the DACH region with exposure to our flagship Pan-European Fund.

The post holder will have the opportunity to influence strategies of the Company’s investment projects in the growing DACH region.

The incumbent must develop a deep understanding of Greystar’s Central Europe operations, as well as building relationships with UK, EU and US leadership and Portfolio Management teams.

About You

You have demonstrable experience in a similar investment, asset or portfolio management role within real estate, preferably with exposure to the residential sector in Germany. With excellent analytical and quantitative skills, you will be able to interpret and present complex data to influence investment performance. Fluency in German and English is essential.
