Responsibilities
- Ownership of the Learning & Development (L&D) roadmap for the Sales Excellence Programme in Europe
- Design, delivery and continuous improvement of training sessions on Sales Management and core excellence processes
- Coaching of local Sales Excellence Champions to ensure capability consistency across countries
- Support Sales Managers through performance-oriented coaching and capability insights
- Strengthening of field execution via structured enablement and follow-up initiatives incl. acceleration of adoption for key digital sales tools
- Collaboration with Product & Marketing Management to integrate training with portfolio priorities
- Building and leading the European Sales Community to foster alignment and knowledge sharing
- Tracking and optimisation of L&D effectiveness relating to sales performance
- Support for senior management with insights and training recommendations
Your profile
- Completed studies in economics or optics
- Several years of professional experience as a sales manager or coach for European sales (B2B), preferably in the optics or medical technology industry
- Profound experience in sales coaching & training techniques, sales enablement, digital sales tools and project management
- Confident use of MS Office and CRM/BI tools (QlikSense, C4C/ SFDC)
- Business fluent in English is mandatory, fluent in German is an advantage; good Italian/French is desirable
- Residence in Europe is required (Germany or Italy would be a plus), non-travel activities will be carried out from the home office or headquarters
- Willingness to travel up to 10-15% across Europe
- Cooperative coaching style that promotes the holistic development of the international matrix team and its performance
- High emotional intelligence, distinct intercultural competence and a strong will to achieve common goals
