Manager Group Accounting & Subsidiaries (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

Financial governance for multiple European subsidiaries and operational sites
Overall responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors and internal departments
Support of group accounting and consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and harmonization of financial statements
Responsibility for the timely preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns and declarations for multiple European entities
Handling of VAT‑related matters, including cross‑border transactions and special topics such as withholding tax on construction services
Close collaboration with and professional coordination of external tax advisors to ensure compliant and efficient tax processes
Continuous development and optimization of financial processes and active involvement in cross‑functional finance projects
Design and implementation of internal control systems (ICS)
Creation and ongoing enhancement of finance policies, accounting manuals, and process guidelines

Completed degree in Accounting, Tax, Controlling, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally in an international environment
Very good MS Office skills
Strong advantage: IFRS knowledge and familiarity with German accounting standards (HGB)
Solid expertise in corporate income tax and VAT
Very good English skills, both written and spoken; (very) good German skills are considered an advantage
Strong hands‑on mentality, independence, willingness to take responsibility, and team spirit
Willingness to undertake occasional business travel
