About the Role:

As the Product Owner for our Business Process Transformation Suite, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle management of SAP Signavio with a focus on the capabilities Business Process Modelling, Process Mining, Process Automation, and adoption support for the solution. Together with IT & Business counterparts you will enable and improve an end-to-end digital business process excellence. This role ensures the system is aligned with business goals and support the broader BioNTech Business Process Excellence strategy, delivers value-driven enhancements, maintains system reliability, and enhances user and customer experience. Your innovative mindset will help enable business process excellence through future-proof global IT solutions. The role reports to the Head of C4E Digital Enabling Services.

Your Contribution:

Define and communicate the vision, goals, and roadmap for our Business Process Transformation Suite, ensuring alignment with the organization’s Business Process Excellence strategy, business needs and user experience
Built and continuously assess platform capabilities towards business needs with focus to increase platform stability, user experience and work effectiveness and automation
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure solutions meet both business and technical needs
Drive continuous improvement of Business Transformation Suite to enhance usability and service levels
Support organizational change management efforts by providing clear communication, guidance on training, and documentation to ensure successful platform adoption
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure high availability, security, and compliance across platforms
Look after the contract and service delivery of an implementation partner, and steer the effort of a small team

A Good Match:

5+ years of experience in product ownership, service management, or a related role within IT, business process excellence, or enterprise platforms
Hands‑on experience managing Business Process Management, Process Mining and Process Transformation systems (SAP Signavio)
Proven track record in system implementation and migration projects, ideally in the area of business process transformation solutions
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience managing product backlogs
Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including IT, customer support, and business stakeholders
Familiarity with business process optimization and aligning service tools with business Needs
Ability to define, prioritize, and manage a roadmap for customer care platforms.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to translate and align IT and business needs
Understanding of platform capabilities, configurations (incl. hands‑on experience), and integrations
Operational knowledge in Business Process Transformation, Business Process Management, Process Mining and/or Process Automation tools
Data‑Driven Decision Making – Ability to use metrics, analytics, and feedback to optimize platforms and workflows
Change Management – Ability to drive adoption and ensure smooth transitions during system changes
Problem‑Solving & Critical Thinking – Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions
