The Hasso Plattner Foundation aims to strengthen Europe's digital sovereignty through science and education, improve access to art and culture, and support environmental conservation. Hasso Plattner is one of the founders of SAP, an enterprise software company, and has been Chairman of its Supervisory Board until 2024.

In 1998, Hasso Plattner founded the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Engineering (HPI), marking his first significant philanthropic contribution. After signing the Giving Pledge (initiated by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet), he established the foundation in 2015.

The Hasso Plattner Foundation’s main office is in Potsdam, Germany.

The Position

For the administration and further development of the SAP landscape of HPF Group, we are looking for an SAP Application Manager with organizational skills and experience in managing SAP cloud systems. You will be based in Potsdam and have on-site commitments at our subsidiaries in Berlin and Potsdam.

• Oversee all aspects of HPF group entities’ SAP cloud infrastructure
• Manage our cloud systems (including S/4HANA Public Edition, SuccessFactors, and Concur) according to clean core principles
• Understand and improve end-to-end business processes across departments and solutions using SAP Build and AI
• Conduct local and remote first & second level client support
• Give direction and guidance to users and external SAP service providers
• Contribute to SAP projects like release changes, rollouts, and migrations
• Completed an academic degree in Business Information Technology or a comparable field
• Prior knowledge of SAP cloud modules and platforms, their architecture, and integration is a plus
• Proven ability to understand core enterprise support processes
• Fluent in English and German
