Market Manager - Energy Markets (f/m/d) E.ON Energy Markets GmbH

Your tasks

• You deliver in-depth analysis of the price and fundamental development of the global commodity markets, toprovide insights on future movements of price levels and spreads in the European commodity markets.
• You closely cooperate with Trading & Origination and Portfolio functions on developing and implementingcommercial strategies.
• You provide advanced market analysis for assets or structured transactions through comprehensive scenarioanalysis to guide optimal Group-wide decision making.
• You lead initiatives to build and mature a large, international energy customer portfolio as part of E.ON'stransformation program.
• You analyze energy market data to identify high-level trading opportunities, including managing E.ON’sgroup portfolio (>200 TWh power & gas) through strategic hedging decisions and open position managementin forward markets with a focus on long- and midterm portfolio strategies.
• You take a leading role in the development of sophisticated trading models and strategies.
• You prepare detailed reports on trading performance and market analysis and present these to seniorstakeholders, including traders and board members.

Your profile

• Successfully completed university degree or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the European energy markets in commercial, analytical, orconsulting role(s) including a minimum of 3 years in a senior role
• Strong commercial mindset with a strategic and analytical way of thinking, demonstrating a high motivationto deliver significant commercial results.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to work within a highly motivated team and independently, taking onsignificant responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills in combination with assertiveness and engagement.
• Embracing opportunities to learn and develop yourself through working with colleagues across all of E.ON’soperating regions
• Knowledge in Python is a plus.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, another European language is seen as a plus.
