Marketing Manager Surgery GSA - VZ/TZ

Job Description

As the Marketing Manager Surgery Germany, Switzerland & Austria (GSA) (m/w/d), you will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies and communications to position BD’s products and services in the market. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and teams in health economics, sales and marketing to create successful campaigns and training concepts, and report directly to the Business Unit Manager Surgery GSA.

Main Tasks

• Develop optimal market positioning and targeted messaging for BD’s products and services, supported by tailored materials.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments in the clinic, as well as with colleagues in health economics, sales and marketing.
• Create concepts, align them with sales and marketing, and execute internal and external events to support training and development of employees and customers.
• Drive client communications and clinical evidence to support sales decisions, providing relevant market data and trend insights.
• Build a network of key opinion leaders, steer project-based initiatives, and develop plans for consumer and patient communication aligned with growth pillars in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
• Lead local digital campaigns and act as the omnichannel interface for the coordinated marketing activities across Europe.

Required Skills & Competences

• Completed degree in business with a focus on marketing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of experience in marketing, communication or product management in a B2B medical technology company, ideally at an international level with sales experience, and exposure to operating rooms.
• Solid financial knowledge to implement ROI standards, develop measurement tools, and analyse results for management.
• Experience in print media and event management.
• In-depth knowledge of the medical technology industry and extensive marketing experience.
• Strong communication skills and professional etiquette.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Results‑oriented and self‑driven with teamwork capability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and other computer applications.
• High travel willingness, including multi‑day stays abroad.
• Fluent German and very good English in spoken and written form.

Salary Range

€82,700.00 – €126,125.00 EUR Annual
