ArianeGroup GmbH in Bremen is looking for a Master Production Scheduler & Supply Chain Manager (d/f/m) for the department Master Production Scheduling with immediate effect. You will join the Supply Chain Center, which operates transversally for all centers of the Industrial Directorate and across all civil and military programs. You will also report hierarchically to the Head of the department, the entity in charge of managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) of the Industrial Directorate as well as the stock and work-in-progress across the company.

In this context, you will also act as the Supply Chain Manager, working directly with operational teams to ensure planning adherence, End to End coordination, and supply chain performance of this strategic unit.

This key position will place you at the heart of operational planning for Ariane 6 and future programs (such as Prometheus), in a critical ramp-up phase for the group’s industrial success.

Your main tasks and activities

Missions as MPS Manager:

  • Translate customer needs into time-phased production objectives

  • Manage the performance of the End-to-End production planning for the Ariane 6 program

  • Integrate S&OP and Stock & work in progress decisions and policies

  • Ensure synchronization of the MPS across all products and programs

  • Identify and manage risks, critical paths, and optimization opportunities

  • Lead MPS reviews at production unit and center levels.

  • Proactively integrate future programs to ensure overall consistency and customer satisfaction

Missions as Supply Chain Manager:

  • Support the consolidation of the MPP (Manufacturing Production Plan)

  • Validate supplier constraints with procurement team and incorporate internal constraints (production, engineering, quality)

  • Maintain visibility on the critical path and challenge teams to develop ambitious schedules.

  • Develop and communicate planning scenarios for arbitration (product manager, procurement, design office...)

  • Update the end-to-end planning based on key milestones across the value chain

  • Ensure adherence to milestones through performance monitoring and appropriate KPIs

  • Steer timely release of internal work orders and external purchase orders

  • Represent supply chain topics in ramp-up-meetings), analyzing demand/supply dynamics

  • Drive MPS cycles and ensure accuracy of local production plans

  • Update the end-to-end Ariane 6 plan in coordination with other MPS managers

  • Ensure consistency across SAP, Planisware and internal tools

  • Collaborate with program manager and other functions to support fast decision-making

  • Define MPS planning horizons (frozen and long term)

  • Monitor demand and supply evolution and secure the ramp-up

  • Establish and present MPS performance indicators (OTD, adherence).

  • Organize MPS and Supply Chain reviews for your perimeter with the relevant

You have the following qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in industrial planning, production management, or supply chain

  • Targeted profiles: scheduler, planner, PMO, buyer, Work Package Manager, or operational staff looking to broaden their scope.

  • Key competencies:

    • Ability to manage across multiple units with an end-to-end vision.

    • Strong synthesis skills, reliability, and ability to prioritize

    • Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAP and Planisware is a plus

    • Good written and spoken German & English

This site, located on the outskirts of the Hanseatic city of Bremen in north-west Germany, has specialised in the development and manufacture of the upper stage of the Ariane launchers since the start of the programme. Its experts are responsible for the design, development and final integration of the Ariane 6 upper stage. They are also developing the Astris Kick Stage, an additional upper stage powered by the future reignitable bi-propellant engine called Berta, which will further enhance Ariane 6’s versatility. The Bremen site also produces metal tanks for the orbital propulsion systems.
