What To Expect

As a Material Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a variety of spare parts and consumables. You will use your technical and commercial skills to plan, order, and continuously monitor and optimize inventory for spare parts and consumables.

What You’ll Do

• Continuously ensuring material availability.
• This includes, among other things, daily planning, management, and ordering.
• Optimizing and implementing material planning processes.
• Optimizing spare parts planning and consumption forecasting in close collaboration with internal customers.
• Assisting in the implementation of planning strategies, taking into account internal requirements, conditions, and changes.
• Supporting the continuous development of tools, processes, and templates.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and helping to negotiate supplier offers, as well as processing purchase requisitions and coordinating internally, including across departments.
• Tracking the status of open orders, taking action in case of deviations, and establishing alternatives to secure on-time deliveries and ensure 100% availability.

What You’ll Bring

• At least relevant professional experience in material procurement within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ideally, a completed degree with a focus on Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Business-fluent German or English skills.
