The jobholder (m/f/d) will be based in Taufkirchen as a**Mechanical Development Engineer (f/m/d)and is **responsible for the following tasks:

• Creation of finite element models (ANSYS / NASTRAN) for mechanical analyses based on CAD geometry, material / fluid properties and/or requirements from specifications
• Thermomechanical analyses of engine and propulsion components, including justification against static & dynamic loads as well as fatigue and damage tolerance
• Model validation based on test data or heritage
• Assessment of the required analyses and derivation of proposals for design optimization
• Documentation of results
• Presentation in front of the customer, e.g. within design reviews
