What You’ll Get To Do

• Assign and coordinate work orders in accordance with the designated planning flow process


• Assess work priority, develop work scopes, and coordinate maintenance tasks


• Maintain and improve equipment reliability through effective maintenance and equipment upgrades


• Gather accurate estimates of repair time, crew size, and costs of repair


• Investigate equipment failures and trouble-shoot problems, and respond to emergency situations to ensure continuity of operations on a 24/7 basis

Who we are looking for

• Mechanical trade ticket or Mechanical Technician /Technologist diploma


• Solid understanding of safe work practices and safety regulations


• Supervisory experience in a unionized environment preferred


• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills


• Basic computer skills

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
