JOB OPENING

• Title: Medical Material Technician
• Location: Ramstein, Germany

• Job Type: Full Time (40 Hours/week)

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency
• Language Requirement – ability to read, speak, and write English. English shall be spoken with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary pronunciation effective in most formal and informal conversations on practical and professional topics.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of standard receiving assignments: verify shipments, match specific items, unload and scan bar codes, and record into an automated system.
• Perform standard storage assignments: store, stack, palletize, rotate items, and verify data on storage instruments.
• Handle issuing/shipping items: select, assemble items based on priority, type of material, transportation mode, destination, and transaction type.
• Assist in inventories: count items, complete tally listings, update DMLSS system.
• Manage date, non-date, unserviceable, and excess items including inventory verification, physical movement, and disposal actions as directed.
• Operate automated material handling equipment: mobile stock selectors, high-rise automated storage and retrieval vehicles, etc.
• Perform material handling duties safely, using tools and equipment, complying with safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain records and documents.

DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status

This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
