Overview
Medical Projects Manager at MVH Europe supports high-impact medical initiatives across Linnaeus and MVH Europe, focusing on improving patient outcomes and delivering meaningful commercial impact. Initial focus area: Oral Health.
Role & Context
The role drives the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional medical projects from concept through implementation, embedding and evaluation. It operates at the intersection of central strategy and local execution, collaborating with the Operating Unit Medical Director, country Area Medical Partner teams, and central Medical and Operations stakeholders. Reports to the Director Medical Operations and sits within the Medical Function. This is a cross-functional, delivery-focused role embedded within an Operating Unit; no direct line management but requires strong influence and execution capability, with success aligning to FY26 Medical Operations commitments and long-term clinical capability building.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Delivery – Lead planning and end-to-end delivery of cross-functional medical projects with a focus on dental programmes. Define scope, objectives, timelines and resourcing. Translate strategic priorities into executable plans for clinical practice. Ensure milestones align with clinical best practice, feasibility and commercial priorities. Coordinate delivery with central Medical and Operations teams to avoid duplication and maintain clinic clarity.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration – Partner with the OU Medical Director and AMP teams to support priority medical programmes (including Oral Health). Engage clinical subject matter experts, operational leaders and central teams to enable consistent delivery. Facilitate collaboration between central and local stakeholders and provide hands-on support where capacity constraints exist, particularly in UK & Ireland.
- Clinical Content & Capability Enablement – Develop, review and quality-check medical content including clinical guidance and educational materials. Ensure Oral Health content is evidence-based and aligned with Clinical Quality standards and governance. Translate medical knowledge into clear, actionable guidance for clinical teams.
- Performance Tracking & Impact Evaluation – Define success metrics for clinical outcomes, operational adoption and commercial impact. Track progress against targets and report on impact. Use data and feedback to refine delivery approaches and improve programme effectiveness.
- Governance & Reporting – Monitor performance against goals, timelines and quality standards. Provide regular updates to the OU Medical Director and Director Medical Operations. Escalate risks proactively and contribute to continuous improvement of medical project frameworks across MVH Europe.
