Medical Technical Assistant in Research (Senior) - Immunology

Main tasks:
- Work with murine samples (tissues, cells), ensuring the quality and integrity of all specimens
- Perform in vitro assays with murine cells
- Conduct molecular and cellular analyses, including qPCR and flow cytometry
- Ensure the smooth running of daily laboratory operations
- Manage laboratory supplies, including ordering and inventory control
- Monitor hygiene standards and oversee waste disposal procedures
- Take responsibility for the guidance and training of employees, students and interns
This position is temporary until and to be filled with 19,25 hours of work per week.
Your Profile
- Complete training as a medical-technical assistant or biological-technical assistant
- At least three years of experience in laboratory management
- Excellent coordination, organizational, and communication skills, combined with independence, conscientiousness, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in the processing of murine samples (ideally up to biosafety level 2) and preferably prior experience working with immune cells, as well as in the purification and analysis of nucleic acids
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge in laboratory management
- Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Very good knowledge of German and English
