Job Description

Role Overview

We are hiring MES Engineers to support mission-critical manufacturing operations within a major European aerospace environment. The role involves hands-on shopfloor support , ensuring production continuity, resolving incidents, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives in a highly structured industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for MES or SAP-based production/manufacturing systems
• Work directly on the production floor with engineering and operations teams
• Troubleshoot real-time manufacturing incidents and system disruptions
• Support digital transformation and process optimization initiatives
• Act as the technical bridge between IT, engineering, and production operations
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Must-Have Requirements

• Previous experience working in a European aerospace or high-regulated manufacturing environment
• Hands-on MES or SAP shopfloor support experience (L1/L2 level)
• Comfortable working fully on-site (no remote option) in Bremen, Hamburg, or Augsburg
• Strong communication skills in German (B2 or above)
• Valid EU work eligibility / residence rights

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience as Business Methods Engineer, MES Specialist, or Production IT Support
• Exposure to digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or lean operations
• Familiarity with incident management & escalation workflows
• Basic understanding of agile or process improvement frameworks
