Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Specialist to support, operate, and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 platform. The role involves administration, troubleshooting, security management, automation development, and user enablement across the full Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with a focus on Teams , SharePoint Online , Exchange Hybrid , OneDrive , and the Power Platform .
This long‑term engagement requires a strong technical background, hands‑on experience, and the ability to provide both expert‑level support and strategic improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Teams , SharePoint Online , Exchange Hybrid , OneDrive , and the Power Platform .
- Provide 2nd and 3rd‑level support, performing troubleshooting and resolving incidents in Microsoft 365 environments.
- Implement and maintain security configurations, compliance controls, and data protection measures (including Defender and Purview ).
- Monitor service usage and performance, prepare reports, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerApps and PowerAutomate .
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing as a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator.
- Support and execute migrations and integrations across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and structured knowledge transfer for internal teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Continuously evaluate new features, recommend improvements, and implement best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Requirements
- Microsoft 365 Operations: Minimum 3 years (within the last 5 years) of experience operating and supporting Microsoft 365 services, including concrete examples and user volumes.
- Microsoft Teams: At least 3 years of experience in support and administration.
- SharePoint Online: At least 3 years of administration and support experience.
- Exchange Hybrid: At least 3 years of experience managing and supporting Exchange Hybrid environments.
- Global Administration: At least 3 years as a Microsoft 365 Administrator, including My Access.
- Power Platform: Minimum 2 years of experience with PowerApps and PowerAutomate development.
- Security: Minimum 2 years of experience administering Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.
- User & License Management: Strong experience managing accounts and licenses in Microsoft 365.
- Migration & Integration: Experience supporting migration and integration projects within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
General Requirements
- Language: Fluent German (C1), spoken and written — certificate or native proficiency required.
- IT Qualification: Degree or certification in IT, or at least 5 years of equivalent relevant IT experience.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to produce and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Training & Coaching: Experience delivering workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to compliance and data protection regulations (DSGVO/GDPR).
- Reporting: Regular status reporting to designated client stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to evolving remote/onsite requirements.
