# Mobile Network Administrator# Mobile Network AdministratorLocationWiesbaden, Germany### Description**Network Administrator****| Full-Time | Wiesbaden, Germany | Top Secret/SCI Clearance**The Network Administrator is a member of the J63 Network Operations (NETOPS) team responsible for sustaining day-to-day network operations across all SAG-U enclaves at Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden. This role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure and services across NIPR, SIPR, SIPR REL, SAGNet, JWICS, Crackle, and BICES enclaves. The Network Administrator executes approved configuration changes, maintains network documentation, and supports operational readiness for mission users across the Tony Bass SPOC and supporting facilities.**Responsibilities** Operate and maintain network infrastructure (routing, switching, TACLANE/HAIPE devices, wireless access points, and supporting components) across multiple classification enclaves. Monitor network health, respond to incidents, and perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network degradation or outages, including DHCP scope issues, switch baseline configurations, and media converter failures. Implement approved network changes in accordance with Change Management and CAB processes, including documenting implementation results and closure evidence. Perform routine network device administration: configuration backups, IOS/firmware updates, port provisioning, VLAN changes, interface troubleshooting, and standardized configuration enforcement. Complete rack elevation diagrams, network topology updates, and cable management documentation to reflect current network posture across all Tony Bass sections. Coordinate with Spectrum team and external partners to maintain accurate NIPR network topology diagrams including trunk port connections and wireless access point placements. Support VoIP/VTC network connectivity including Cisco Jabber softphone provisioning (SIPR), Cisco VoIP device renaming, and conference room pod VTC connectivity. Coordinate with external organizations (102nd NEC Wiesbaden, RCC-E, DISA, USAREUR-AF, 2d TSB S3) to resolve issues impacting mission connectivity. Support COMSEC-adjacent coordination including TACLANE inventory, device relocation, and HAIPE device tracking under proper oversight. Maintain network documentation including device inventories, port maps, rack layouts, and as-built diagrams sufficient for sustainment and audit readiness. Participate in on-call or after-hours support during maintenance windows, outages, or mission surges.**Requirements** Education High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience, Associate’s with 4 years, or Bachelor’s with 2 years of relevant experience**Experience** 4+ years of network administration experience in an enterprise or DoD environment Technical Skills Experience administering routed and switched networks in a multi-enclave enterprise environment Proficiency with Cisco switching and routing administration (IOS navigation, interface and VLAN configuration, DHCP snooping, trunk/access port configuration) Working understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, DHCP, DNS dependencies, and common troubleshooting workflows Experience with TACLANE/HAIPE device operations and COMSEC coordination Experience performing cable management, rack layout documentation, and network cabinet maintenance Familiarity with firewall administration (Cisco Firepower 2110/1120) including Geolocation, SNORT Rules, and security package updates**Role Requirements** Excellent written communication and diagramming skills for network documentation and topology updates Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, escalate appropriately, and maintain operational discipline under time pressure Familiarity with RMF processes and cyber input to network design Experience working in collaborative IPT environments with cross-functional coordination**Certifications** Required: IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE), Cisco CCNA Preferred: CCNP, ITIL v4 Foundation Clearance and Citizenship Clearance: TS/SCI Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required Must be approved for German TESA.**Preferred Qualifications** Experience in multi-enclave or multi-tenant environments requiring high availability Experience with NetFlow or network traffic analysis tooling and basic anomaly investigation support Experience supporting VoIP call routing or UC network connectivity troubleshooting Experience supporting IPTV device configuration and installation Familiarity with Network Address Declaration processes and eMASS ATO package support documentationPhysical Requirements This position may require occasional physical activity such as lifting equipment, bending/crouching to troubleshoot, and extended periods of sitting.Job Types: Full-Time Salary: $110k - $120k + LQA Schedule: Monday-FridayBenefits:• 401(k) matching• Full Medical• Paid time off• Professional development assistanceSTEELGATE LLC is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that prides itself in hiring top-level Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) proven to exceed deliverable expectations.
