Modality Sales Specialist DXR South Germany (m/w/d) – Philips

Responsibilities

  • Support our (Key) Account Managers in the sales process with clinical and technical know-how for devices, software, solutions and services.
  • Create tailored product configurations, service models (including upgrades to the installed base) and price proposals; handle offer creation and sell products, updates, upgrades and consumables to existing customers to grow the follow-on business.
  • Lead offers presentations and negotiations – jointly with the (Key) Account Manager or independently – and clearly communicate the advantages of our solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and trainings at congresses, trade shows, customer events or internal meetings; share knowledge with physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers and colleagues.
  • Develop aligned sales strategies in the team, perform needs analyses and forecasts, and be responsible for achieving sales targets (order intake, revenue, price realization).
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends and extract valuable feedback to advance our portfolio.
  • Process customer inquiries and complaints to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to drive improvements and implement Lean-management principles.
  • As Opportunity Owner ensure precise lead management (SFDC accuracy), maintained master data and reliable monthly business forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Several years of professional experience in healthcare or healthcare services.
  • Extensive clinical experience in the medical field.
  • Very good understanding of workflows in the healthcare sector.
  • Ideally experience in medical capital goods, IT, or a clinical/medical environment.
  • A completed degree (technical, business, or medical) is desirable but not required.
  • Ideally good knowledge of reimbursement structures in the German healthcare system.
  • Persuasive, professional manner with a strong sales orientation.

How We Work Together

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is a field-based role requiring regular presence at customer sites across Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. You’ll work independently while staying closely connected with your team and stakeholders.
