Network Data Analyst (m/w/d)

About This Role

Join our team in Rosenheim as a Network Data Analyst, where you will drive antenna performance and network-level analyses to turn simulation results into actionable insights. You will design and implement data analysis approaches, apply data science and machine learning techniques to study network behavior, and contribute to enhancing our simulation tools for more accurate system evaluations. By uncovering dependencies between antenna architecture, antenna parameters, and network KPIs, you’ll help shape design and planning decisions. Clear visualizations and storytelling of your findings will be key as you collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve network performance.

What You Will Do

• Driving and participating in antenna performance analysis, requirement analysis, simulation tools development.
• Develop effective data analysis approaches and methodologies on network performance evaluations.
• Contribute to the improvement of network simulation tools for system analysis
• Supporting studies regarding network performance by applying data science and machine learning concepts and algorithms on network simulation results
• Identify dependencies between antenna architecture, antenna parameter and network KPIs
• Use data visualization to communicate the relevant findings from analyses and support result analysis and interpretation.

You will bring

• A Master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent
• Expert knowledge in data science and machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and insights in complex datasets.
• Good understanding of 3GPP and cellular networks, understanding of base station antenna parameters and Network KPIs
• Advanced knowledge in Python, experience in MATLAB
• Experience with passive and active base station antenna design and network planning tools
• Work experience across interdisciplinary teams
• Effective written and spoken communications skill in English. German language knowledge is an advantage
• Teamwork mentality
