Your qualifications

Strong expertise in networking (routing & switching, WAN technologies)
Experience with network vendors, preferably Juniper
Knowledge of firewalling and network security concepts
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. CheckMK, Zabbix, NMi)
Understanding of ITIL-based processes (incident & change management)
Experience as a Level 2 Engineer or similar role
Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus
Ability to work independently and in distributed teams
Security clearance (Ü2) – already obtained or willingness to obtain

Your tasks

Operation and further development of data center network infrastructure
Configuration and administration of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, STP)
Management and optimization of WAN technologies (IPSec VPN, MPLS)
Operation and maintenance of firewall solutions (e.g. Fortinet, Check Point)
Support and handling of load balancing systems (F5)
Monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of network incidents
Ensuring high availability within a 24/7 support model
Collaboration with internal teams and external service providers
Shift model: Early/Late shift (07:00–19:00 CET) + on-call duty
