Now comes the next level: new international use cases, new markets, and new revenue streams . We’re looking for a New Business Development Manager (m/f/d) who wants to build something from zero : validate a new international use case, win the first paying customers, and turn early traction into a scalable go‑to‑market motion.
This role sits at the intersection of outbound sales, market validation, and GTM building . You will own the journey end‑to‑end — from first outreach to first closes and handover into our standard sales organization.
Your Mission
This is not a classic handover role. You are responsible for creating momentum where none exists yet.
1) Build Pipeline & Validate the Market
- Identify and prioritize international target customers and partners for a new use case
- Run structured outbound (cold outreach, follow‑ups, qualification)
- Turn conversations into a healthy, high‑quality pipeline
- Keep deals moving across multiple stakeholders with clear next steps
2) Discovery, Value & Closing
- Lead first discovery calls and deeply understand customer processes and decision logic
- Translate pain points into a clear value proposition and business case for every prospect
- Own opportunities from first contact to close (incl. objection handling and stakeholder management)
- Drive decisions — pilots are a means to an end, not the end
3) Go‑to‑Market & Pilot Success
- Write individualized pitches and sharpen messaging based on real market feedback
- Design and guide pilot phases with clear success criteria
- Turn pilots into reference wins and closed‑won deals
- Systematically document learnings to create repeatable GTM playbooks
4) B2B2B Orchestration & On‑site Development
- Navigate a B2B2B setup (partners / multipliers → end customers)
- Design custom scalable GTM approaches
- Support on‑site meetings, pilot setups, and critical milestones when needed
- Enable a smooth transition into our standard sales organization
Your Background
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or another commercial customer-facing role
- Proven strength in outbound and opportunity ownership through to closing
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you move even when processes are not perfect
- High ownership: you take responsibility, follow through, and get things done
- Strong closing mentality: you can move deals forward with clarity and persistence
- Bonus: experience with partner sales / B2B2B models
- Fluent in English & preferably German (additional languages are a plus)
- Willingness to travel (≈15–20%, national & international)
