Overseeing and coordinating day-to-day ocean freight operations (import/export)

Managing and optimizing processes along the entire transportation chain

Supporting and developing the operational team

Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and quality standards

Communicating and negotiating with shipping lines, customers, and service providers

Strengthening and expanding relationships with local partners

Coordinating logistics processes: Transportation planning, shipment handling, and full support through our custamized transportation management system

Analyzing KPIs and deriving actions to improve efficiency

Preparing data and reports for month-end closing

What You’ll Bring:

Completed commercial education (university, business school, freight forwarding training or equivalent)

Fluency in written and spoken German & English

Excellent MS Office skills and a strong numerical aptitude

At least 5 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding

Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, resilience, accuracy and reliability

Team player with a pro-active, solution-oriented approach
