Ocean Freight Specialist (m/f/d)

Based in our Hamburg office, you’ll be right at the center of international ocean freight operations. You’ll coordinate shipments across ports and continents, collaborating closely with shipping lines, partners, and our global Cargomind network. Your effort will ensure that every shipment moves smoothly and reaches its destination on time.

About the Role:

Independent handling of ocean freight shipments (FCL/LCL/project)

End-to-end management of ocean freight shipments from transport planning and documentation to final delivery

Shipment monitoring and proactive deviation management

Handling rate and space negotiations with shipping lines and partners

Professional support of international customers and partners, building long-term business relationships

What You’ll Bring:

Completed commercial education (business school, freight forwarding training or equivalent)

Fluency in German and good knowledge of English

Excellent MS Office skills and confident use of common business tools

Several years of professional experience in ocean freight

Strong organizational skills combined with a structured, independent working style and a strong service orientation

Team player with a pro-active, solution-oriented approach
