Tasks : The operational buyer is responsible for day-to-day purchasing processes, including order processing, supplier communication, and monitoring delivery dates.

• Entering and processing purchase orders in the ERP system (SAP R3/S4 Hana)
• Ensuring material availability for production
• Coordinating and tracking delivery dates and communicating them to production
• Creating delivery schedule releases and releases for volume contracts/value contracts
• Sending releases to suppliers and obtaining or entering order confirmations
• Initiating appropriate measures to ensure delivery dates in the event of delays
• Coordinating with suppliers regarding logistics process optimizations

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a commercial or technical field
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in the metalworking industry
• Strong knowledge of the SAP modules MM / PP and proficiency in MS Office are desirable
• Experience working with technical drawings
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• High degree of independence and personal responsibility, as well as willingness to travel occasionally to suppliers and other locations
