Operations and Maintenance Project Manager

Key Safety Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multi‑disciplinary teams across on‑site solar and renewable energy O&M projects
• Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, focusing on safety, performance, client satisfaction, and financial outcomes
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, owning both commercial and operational
• Conduct regular site visits, particularly in NSW and QLD, and during onboarding of new project sites
• Collaborate with global teams, including participation in after‑hours calls with counterparts in Europe, America, and Asia
• Manage client relationships, budgets, and overall project performance to meet strategic objectives

Skills & Experience

• Minimum two years’ experience managing O&M projects in utility‑scale solar or renewable energy (or transferable experience)
• Proven management and leadership skills with extensive experience in team development, effective communication, project delivery, and workforce planning
• Experience managing contracts, budgets, and technical teams in high‑compliance environments
• Proven expertise in safety management, including electrical risk mitigation and compliance with WHSEQ standards
• Demonstrated project financial management skills and solid knowledge of finance, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
• High proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of energy generation systems, asset management, and utility‑scale inverter technology

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
• Current Australian driver’s license
