We are now looking for someone who wants to take a key role in our continued expansion within the data center segment.

Troax is a global leader in physical security and containment solutions for the datacentre sector. Our expertise spans cold aisle containment, hot aisle containment, modular caging systems, and secure enclosures designed to optimize airflow and energy efficiency. We provide robust solutions that safeguard critical IT infrastructure while enhancing operational performance.

With us, you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the supply chain of the future for data center solutions in an international environment. You will be part of a committed team where collaboration, responsibility, and continuous improvement are in focus.

About the Role

You will be responsible for establishing, developing, and optimizing the supplier base for key components in our data center solutions. You will work closely with both European suppliers and our UK procurement team to ensure quality, delivery precision, and cost efficiency. The role is both strategic and operational - you will identify new suppliers, negotiate agreements, follow up on supplier performance, and drive continuous improvements. You report to the Operations Manager for Data Center and have many points of contact, both internally and externally. Travel is a natural part of the position.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a supplier network in Europe for sheet metal and metal components
  • Negotiate prices, lead times, and agreements with suppliers
  • Ensure that suppliers meet our requirements for quality, safety, and delivery
  • Coordinate logistics and deliveries to our UK operations
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance
  • Support projects with material planning and ensure access to the right components at the right time
  • Drive improvement work in cost, lead time, and delivery precision

Location

While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely most of the time, we require candidates to be able to commute to one of our European offices as needed for team collaboration and company culture activities. We believe that regular face-to-face interactions foster stronger relationships and help maintain our vibrant company culture.
