We are searching for an Operations Manager, Area Manager Logistics, Data Analyst or comparable as Station Area Manager.

Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. As a Station Area Manager, you’ll help ensure your sites run smoothly to meet customer demand, review station KPIs and processes, manage stakeholders, and drive productivity across projects in the network.

Responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
• Analyse and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity
• Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity, and improve service quality
• Analyse station performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence
• Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardise practices

A day in the life: You’ll typically work the early shift (start at 6:00 am) and ensure sites are productive, maintain safety and quality standards, lead process improvements, and manage stakeholder and daily operational responsibilities along with contingency tasks.

About The Team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and large appliances, managing the service from fulfilment to delivery and returns, including unpacking, installation, and old item removal where needed. The team focuses on safety, productivity, and innovation as we expand specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe.

Basic Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a logistics or data-driven environment (e.g., as Operations Manager or Data Analyst)
• Experience in stakeholder management or people management
• Experience using data or evidence to influence business decisions
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and German

Preferred Qualifications

• A university degree
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
