Do you aim to have a dynamic impact on the world? Are you up for creating solutions and solving tomorrow's problems today? We are looking to hire an ICQA Operations Manager to take ownership of our fulfillment centers' Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team. Our fulfillment centers (FC) are at the heart of Amazon's rapidly growing operations network: they manage our fast-moving stock, each FC's teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them up, and ship them out. These environments are fast-paced with high rewards where adherence to policies and procedures is key. We need a leader who ensures we deliver as reliably as ever to our customers while safeguarding customer obsession.
You will lead a department responsible for inventory control, quality assurance, and problem-solving operations. Your day typically starts with a meeting with the fulfillment center's leadership team to review previous day performance and address ongoing issues. You will review inventory discrepancies and quality performance, analyze data for trends and opportunities for process improvement, and collaborate with your team and partners in FC operations or central teams (Catalogue, Procurement, Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Loss Prevention, and Program Management). You will spend time on the floor observing processes and ensuring safety standards are maintained. You will also develop your Area Managers, provide feedback, and identify training needs. You will finish the day contributing to inventory accuracy, resolving quality challenges, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate fulfillment operations.
The EU ICQA mission is to prevent and remove customer-facing defects to provide world-class service at the lowest possible cost. The Vision of ICQA is to exceed customer expectations—buyers and sellers. We drive defect-free order fulfillment by operating efficiently and accurately through quality standards across FC processes (receive, stow, count, pick, pack, ship) up to our sellers and customers. We lead with empathy to create a safer, more productive, higher-performing, and more diverse work environment. We empower and support our team members to grow and achieve their aspirations.
Amazon is an equal opportunities employer. We believe that employing a diverse workforce is central to our success. We make recruiting decisions based on experience and skills.
