Iron Mountain is seeking a high-impact Operations Transformation Lead to join our Operations team in Germany. In this specialized role, you will serve as a tactical partner for our scanning sites, driving "ground-level" transformation and sustainable change.
You will be responsible for operational excellence, performance governance, and leadership enablement to ensure long-term stability and SLA adherence across our German operational network.
Drive Operational Excellence & Stabilization : Conduct deep‑dive reviews of throughput and cost drivers to implement pragmatic improvements and ensure consistent SLA adherence.
Lead Performance Governance & KPIs : Shift the focus from reporting overload to steering‑relevant metrics, establishing robust daily and weekly performance routines.
Provide Leadership Sparring & Enablement : Act as a coach for Site and Team Leads on decision‑making and escalation handling while clarifying roles to eliminate informal dependencies.
Ensure Process & Compliance Integrity : Audit the daily implementation of security requirements and document complex workflows to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
Foster Cross‑Site Engagement : Collaborate across multiple locations to share best practices and create a unified, high‑performing operational network.
Manage Transformation & Sustainable Exit : Moderate the interfaces between IT and Operations, ensuring all routines are documented for a smooth handover to internal ownership.
Operational Excellence Expertise : Deep understanding of throughput, quality metrics, and SLA management, ideally within high‑volume BPO, scanning, or logistics environments.
Pragmatic Problem‑Solving Skills : Proven ability to not just identify risks but implement functional solutions that reduce overlaps.
Data‑Driven Mindset : A preference for "steering‑relevant" metrics over reporting volume and the ability to coach others to make quick, KPI‑based decisions.
Strong Documentation Skills : Ability to translate complex workflows into structured, accessible process documentation.
Language Proficiency : Fluency in both German and English is critical for navigating between local site operations and global functions.
Professional Seniority : The emotional intelligence to act as a "sparring partner" and provide structured feedback to leadership.
Contract Type: Fixed‑term contract.
Location: Germany (Supporting various scanning sites).
Competitive Compensation: Salary and benefits aligned with professional experience.
Work‑Life Balance: Flexible work options and alternative work arrangements to support your lifestyle.
Health & Well‑being: Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.
Growth: Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development within a global organization.
