Area of responsibility
The Database Management department is responsible for database operations at the German Pension Insurance data centers. Our Database Transition team is responsible for planning and designing Oracle databases for all pension insurance providers. As a central component of the IT architecture, we play an important role in ensuring the smooth processing of pension transactions.

As the data center for the German Pension Insurance, we are an operator of critical infrastructure (KRITIS). Please note that once you have been offered the position, you will be subject to a security check in accordance with the Security Check Act (§ 9 SÜG). This security check must not result in a finding that there is a security risk that would prevent you from performing security-sensitive work (§ 14 SÜG).
Business fluent written and spoken German is required for this position.

The permanent transfer to the new position is generally preceded by a temporary transfer in accordance with § 14 TV DRV-Bund for the purpose of testing the employee in this position. The temporary transfer lasts at least 6 months and should not exceed a period of 12 months.
During the temporary transfer, a personal allowance may be granted. In accordance with §TV DRV Bund, the personal allowance is calculated on the basis of the difference between the current salary and the salary that would have been paid in the event of a permanent transfer in accordance with §sentence 1 TV DRV-Bund. If the trial period is unsuccessful, the employee will return to their previous position (with the personal allowance being discontinued if applicable).
The selected applicant will be permanently transferred to the new position. Promotion to salary grade A 10 BBesO is only possible after a successful trial period within the meaning of § 34 BLV and fulfillment of all other requirements.
If the trial period is not successful, the employee will return to their previous position.
