As an Orthopedic Technician , you provide people with professional and competent care using orthopedic assistive devices. You work in direct contact with our patients and are a central point of contact for them.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you to support the treatment of our national and international patients, with a particular focus on the upper extremities , starting as soon as possible.

The position is limited to a fixed term of one year .

Responsibilities

• You will independently conduct clinical examinations of patients in the field of prosthetics or orthotics, with a focus on the upper extremities
• You will accompany our patients through the entire care process – from consultation, fitting, and configuration of the assistive device, through rehabilitation, to the final fitting
• You will manufacture custom‑made assistive devices for our patients
• You will document the care provided in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation (MDR)
• You will work closely with various specialist departments
• You will further develop the quality of care

Profile

• You have successfully completed your training/studies in the field of orthopedic technology
• You have several years of professional experience in patient care; ideally, you already hold a master craftsman's certificate
• You have sound knowledge of modern care with custom‑made orthopedic devices
• You possess manual dexterity and effective communication skills
• You are flexible and a team player
• You have a confident demeanor and are characterized by personal commitment
