Our esteemed partner, an international law firm renowned for its expertise in Tax Law, Litigation, and Corporate Law amongst others, is seeking a Partner to assist in its firm’s growth.

With a strong global network of collaborators, the firm places international clients and expertise at the heart of its operations. Having established a presence in Luxembourg many years ago, the firm wishes to continue its growth and become a key player in Luxembourg, which they have already become internationally.

In this role, you will play a central part in developing the firm’s local Corporate M&A practice while guiding and mentoring the lawyers under your supervision. Your contribution will support the firm’s organic growth and help strengthen its long-standing client relationships.

In addition, the firm will give you the necessary liberty to develop the department in the way you see fit, and will not hesitate to give you all the means and tools necessary to grow your team as best as possible.

Your Responsibilities | Lawyer – Legal – Law – Corporate – M&A – Avocat – Droit des sociétés

• You ensure long-lasting client relationships, as the contact person for clients, you are a key advisor and work on varying legal documentation necessary for the advancement of their business.
• You handle meetings with your clients and potential clients to discuss their needs for support. Thus ensuring the firm’s business development in your area of expertise.
• You will also network and represent the firm’s image on the market, and are aware of the importance of cross-selling.
• As a key member of the firm and its Corporate M&A department, you adopt a mentoring stance and are responsible for the technical improvement and the coaching of junior and senior associates.
  

Profile and Career Path | Lawyer – Legal – Law – Corporate – M&A – Avocat – Droit des sociétés

• You have already attained a position of Counsel, Of Counsel or similar, or Partner of course, in a Law firm in Luxembourg. You work, more specifically, in the Corporate and M&A department of said firm.
• Fluency in French and English is a prerequisite. Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are eager to develop the department all the while benefiting from the support and stability of an internationally present law firm.
• Though you are autonomous from an operational point of view, it is more important that you can share this knowledge with your team (ranging from junior to senior associates) and ensure their learning curve.
• If you have a team or portable business to bring, that is an additional asset.
