Overview

An established clinical research site network in Munich is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to support the delivery of rheumatology clinical trials , with a strong focus on patient recruitment and engagement .

This role will work closely with principal investigators, study coordinators, and sponsor/CRO partners to ensure the successful execution of studies while driving patient identification and enrolment across the Munich region .

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical research professional with strong connections in the local rheumatology ecosystem who enjoys working in a site-focused, patient-facing environment .

Key Responsibilities

Support the operational delivery of rheumatology clinical trials across the Munich site network
Develop and implement patient recruitment and engagement strategies to support enrolment targets
Work closely with principal investigators, research nurses, and study coordinators to ensure efficient study execution
Monitor site performance, recruitment metrics, and study timelines
Collaborate with sponsors and CRO partners to ensure compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements
Support site feasibility assessments and site selection activities
Maintain high-quality study documentation and adherence to ICH-GCP standards
Build and maintain relationships with local clinics, investigators, and referral networks to support patient recruitment

Key Skills & Experience

Proven track record in rheumatology clinical trials or patient recruitment within rheumatology studies
Experience working within clinical research sites or site networks in Germany
Strong local network within Munich hospitals, clinics, or investigator groups
Demonstrated ability to drive patient recruitment and enrolment
Solid understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial regulations in Germany
Experience working with sponsors, CROs, and investigator-led studies
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
