Your future contribution

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day execution of payment operations, ensuring seamless transactions across multiple markets, payment service providers (PSPs), and currencies. You will work closely with internal teams to help resolve payment issues, support new feature rollouts, and improve operational workflows.

How you’ll add value

  • Support daily payment operations across multiple PSPs, currencies, brands, and markets.
  • Support efforts to streamline workflows and assist in the automation of reconciliation processes.
  • Monitor and support fraud detection processes; collaborate with fraud prevention teams/tools to mitigate risks.
  • Help manage and document chargeback disputes, contributing to maintaining chargeback ratios within acceptable thresholds.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and Finance teams by:
    • Investigating and resolving day-to-day payment issues raised by internal teams or customers.
    • Providing input to improve payment flows, policies, and customer experience.
    • Testing and validating new payment features or system enhancements.
    • Ensuring operational readiness for new payment methods, PSP integrations, and process changes.
  • Maintain and update documentation, knowledge articles, and process guidelines for payment operations.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in payment operations, financial operations, or related fields (preferably in fintech, e-commerce, or online marketplaces).
  • Familiarity with PSPs, payment gateways, and card processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of fraud prevention and chargeback processes.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and payment dashboards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
