People Director

The client, an expanding company in the energy sector, is seeking a People Director to lead its HR functions. This role is crucial for driving organizational development, fostering a strong company culture, and establishing robust HR governance at an executive level. The client is focused on supporting evolving operational needs, talent development, and long-term strategic growth, particularly as they undergo significant expansion in a dynamic industry environment. The People Director will be responsible for defining and implementing the client's HR culture, policies, and governance frameworks, including diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. They will conduct organizational and performance analyses to adapt company structures to meet current and future needs, which includes managing post‑merger and acquisition integrations. Key responsibilities also include overseeing comprehensive training programs, analyzing HR data to tackle staffing and performance challenges, and establishing key performance indicators and service standards to enhance employee experience. Compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements, managing recruitment processes, and overseeing remuneration policies are also important aspects of the role. Candidates should have more than 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least four years in the energy sector. They should have a proven track record of integrating teams with diverse backgrounds, as well as experience in developing organizational models and governance frameworks. The role demands exceptional leadership, strong MS Office skills, and proficiency in both English and Spanish.
