As part of a research project, you will develop software for autonomous vehicles, focusing on enabling efficient and safe trajectory planning in safety-critical scenarios. Your work involves modeling and quantifying risks to incorporate them into trajectory planning, aiming to facilitate safe and agile autonomous vehicle behavior. Responsibilities include conception, implementation, and evaluation of new algorithms, as well as teaching and supervising student teams. Candidate Profile
You should be enthusiastic about autonomous systems and robotics, motivated to undertake responsibility in research, enjoy teamwork, and be committed to long-term topics. Qualifications
A Master's degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, electrical engineering, computer science, etc.) Knowledge from lectures in robotics (e.g., environment perception, path and behavior planning, control) Strong programming skills (e.g., Python) Conscientious and independent working style High motivation and commitment Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken) What We Offer
