Role Description

In this part‑time remote role, the Piezoelectric Research Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer / MEMS Engineer / MEMS Physicist will work on advanced AI systems research and development projects. Responsibilities supporting the fab research on piezoelectric and MEMS‑based technologies, designing and implementing innovative electromechanical systems, and optimizing algorithms to improve system performance. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams to integrate AR solutions into optical devices will also be a key aspect of this role.

• Strong background in Research, Research and Development (R&D), and Physics
• Proficiency in Algorithms and their implementation in practical applications
• Knowledge of Computer Science principles, including programming and computational tools
• Experience in piezoelectric or MEMS technologies is highly desirable
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and a drive for innovation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred
