Planning Director

We are supporting a leading organization in the search for a

Planning Director

to join their strategy team in

Düsseldorf .

This role is ideal for a senior strategist who can deeply understand brands and audiences, translate insight into inspiring briefs, and work closely with creative and consulting teams to deliver integrated, impactful work. You will play a key role in shaping brand and communication strategies, leading workshops, and acting as a trusted strategic partner across disciplines.

Key responsibilities: Develop brand and communication strategies grounded in strong insights Write clear, inspiring briefs that unlock outstanding creative work Analyze and interpret market research Design, lead, and moderate client workshops Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and consulting teams Challenge briefs and assumptions to elevate strategic thinking Present confidently and persuasively, including in English

What we’re looking for: 5+ years of experience in a senior or lead strategy role Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills A structured, goal-oriented approach to problem-solving Curiosity, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of emerging trends Excellent communication skills in

German and English

Working model:

Hybrid, with on-site collaboration from

Monday to Wednesday .
