Aboutthe project/Role description

The project isplanning the expansion of the existing Hamburg Refinery, by adding thefollowing process units and facilities: HVO Unit, pre-treatment Unit, tankfarm balance (tanks partially supplied by others), interconnecting lines, newelectrical substation and rack room, interconnecting cables between newsubstation building and existing substation and control room.

Planning Engineerwill perform all the activities pertaining to the planning / reporting withina Project (or part thereof) of any size and complexity, under the supervisionof the Project Control Manager and the Planning Senior Engineer, in fullcompliance with their indications and the Contract, the Company’s qualityrequirements and Project Execution Plan, WBS and Schedules. To be accountablefor the correct implementation/update of the Project Schedule for theassigned portion according to the received indication /assignments and the requirements

Dutiesand responsibilities

• Preparation of all field projectplanning activities in accordance with the Company’s procedures underthe guidance of Senior Planning Engineer, if present.
• To closely work with ConstructionSub-contractor during the development of their Contract Level 3 & 4Schedules and manpower histograms to ensure compliance with all ProjectMilestones, critical interfaces and adherence to the Project ControlProcedures under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer.
• Check the feasibility ofconstruction schedules with the scheduled deliveries of documentation,materials and updated information received from Home Office under theguidance of Senior Planning Engineer.
• Constantly monitoring theperformance of Subcontractors in terms of efficiency, progress andresources under the guidance of Senior Planning Engineer.
• Provide feedback to theresponsible of Planning. about problems/deviations arising fromapplication of standard methods and work instructions and tools, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
• Keep himself/herself up to dateabout the technical specific improvement of the discipline.

Experience

• Experience in the oil and gasindustry
• At least 3 years relevantexperience in a similar role
• Experience in Gas Plants and EPCProjects.

Knowledge& Qualifications

UniversityDegree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Skillsand Abilities

• ExcellentIT and analytical skills.
• Excellentcommunications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills.
• Proficientin the use of all the necessary Company Tools such as Primavera P6,Milemate!, TPMS, etc.
• Self-motivationand direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problemresolution.
