Planters Machinery Senior Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing high speed precision planting meter & seed delivery device for different crops and agronomy.
• Collecting information about high speed precision planter of benchmarking enterprises and conducting benchmarking research.
• Establishing theoretical calculation methods and design standards of high speed precision planting meter & seed delivery device.
• Establishing test methods of high speed precision planting meter & seed delivery device.
• Participating in the layout reviews of planters & row units.
• Participating in the design scheme reviews of the intelligent monitoring system, hydraulic system, transmission system of planter.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design and development of high-end precision planters, work experience with leading planter brands are preferred
• Experienced with pneumatic seed metering systems (air seeding technology).
• Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project coordination, supplier visits, and field validation.
