PLC Software Developer (m/f/d)

Then you’ve come to the right place. As an experienced PLC Software Developer, you will work with us to develop scalable, high-performance automation solutions at the cutting edge of technology.

In detail, this means:

• You will design, develop, and document standardized PLC software solutions / architectures using Siemens TIA Portal and in accordance with IEC 61131-3 .
• You will integrate modern communication protocols such as OPC UA, IO-Link , and Profinet to seamlessly connect systems.
• You will apply advanced software development principles such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) , Test-Driven Development (TDD) , version control with Git , and principles like Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment .
• You will also develop C#/.NET applications to extend the functionality of our automation solutions.
• You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, design system architectures, and take responsibility for the success of our complex software platform.
• As an experienced developer, you will share your knowledge, support colleagues, and establish best practices within the team.

What We’re Looking For

• You have at least 10 years of experience in PLC software development – preferably in mechanical or plant engineering.
• You are fully proficient in using Siemens TIA Portal and in IEC 61131-3 programming .
• You are accustomed to working with agile processes.
• You have in-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols .
• You are skilled in C# and .NET , especially in the context of industrial applications.
• You have experience with modern software development processes (OOP, TDD, Git, CI/CD) and are eager to actively contribute to their advancement.
• You are a solution-oriented team player with high standards for quality and a passion for innovation.

Nice to have

• Initial experience with NextGen PLC platforms such as SimaticAX .
• Experience with Industry 4.0 concepts .
• Industry experience in the pharmaceutical sector and an understanding of regulatory requirements.
