About the Role

In international insurance portfolios, underperformance compounds quickly without clear visibility and fast action. This role spots problems early, diagnoses root causes, and drives remediation plans that keep our Specialty Lines business on target. You'll translate data into strategic decisions that directly impact our P&L, working across borders and functions to turn underperforming areas around.

Reporting to the Senior Lead of Actuarial & Portfolio Monitoring Specialty Lines, you'll provide the performance management backbone for our Specialty Lines Line of Business.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Driving P&L Performance

Own the full profit and loss story—from revenues and growth through to commercial results:

• Build the methodology, reports, and governance framework that gives complete visibility into performance
• Identify which markets and business partners are thriving and which need support
• Partner with regional and local teams to create action plans that protect our P&L targets

Making Us More Competitive

Lead internal and external cost management:

• Coordinate actions across the organization to hit cost targets
• Design and deploy central action plans to boost competitiveness across all countries

Planning and Forecasting

Coordinate Strategic Dialogue (SD), Planning Dialogue (PD), and reforecasting activities:

• Steer planning cycles in partnership with Finance, Markets, and PMI teams
• Provide insights that shape commercial result assessments

Monitoring What Matters

Create dashboards and reports that enable leadership to make confident decisions about steering the business forward.

Solving Problems Before They Escalate

Dig into root causes, develop solutions, and build rehabilitation plans—collaborating with Operations, Network, Finance, and Sales teams.

What You Bring

Essential Experience & Education

• Strong professional experience in portfolio monitoring with a financial or actuarial background
• Degree in Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science
• Deep understanding of insurance/assistance business and how operational and financial levers impact P&L
• Proficient in MS Office; usage of Power BI interfaces; basic coding skills may be a preferred option (SQL, Python)
• Ability to work in an international environment; fluent English required
