Job description
The position is part of the KIT technology transfer project PINEm. The focus is on the further development and modular extension of the already existing and commercially available device PINE (Portable Ice Nucleation Experiment) for measuring ice-nucleating particles (INPs), as well as on the development of a new, more compact and cost-effective version, PINEm, for automated long-term monitoring of INPs. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with the industry partner Bilfinger Nuclear & Energy Transition GmbH in Würzburg and the University of Leeds in England.
