The Autonomous Systems Lab at the University of Tübingen is searching for a Postdoctoral Researcher in machine learning (m/f/d, E13 TV-L, 100%) limited for 2 years.
The research group of Dr. Shahram Eivazi at the UniversityOfTübingenis working on the Autonomous Design Systems and Embodied Intelligence, leveraging generative models such as diffusion models and transformer-based architectures to construct high-dimensional design spaces. These models are integrated with Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) for fine-tuning or end-to-end learning, enabling adaptive systems that jointly optimize morphology and control for real-world physical interaction.
Tübingenis a leading hub for AI research, hosting communities such as the Tübingen AI Center, Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, and Cyber Valley. Theirgroup operates at two locations: the University of Tübingen and the Festo Lab, providing a unique environment for close collaboration between academia and industry.
