Role - Preservation Coordinator / Warehouse Coordinator (HVDC)

Work Location: Stadland, Germany

This position requires 5+ years of experience in EPC logistics and dual fluency in German and English.

• The Preservation and Warehouse Manager manages all site-level logistics, storage, and preservation of equipment for the HVDC Converter Station.
• Reporting to the Site Manager, this role makes sure construction stays on schedule by providing all necessary equipment and materials on time.
• Key responsibilities include managing the warehouse contractor, maintaining digital inventory and preservation logs, and ensuring all site movements comply with German environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preservation Coordination
• Develop and implement preservation plans for HVDC equipment and materials
• Monitor preservation activities and environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, storage
• Ensure compliance with preservation standards, procedures, and client requirements
• Ensure appropriate reporting, timely and according to supplier, internal or client requirement
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and technicians performing preservation task
• Maintain preservation records and prepare status reports for Site and Project management Support handover and commissioning readiness activities
• Warehouse Management
• Manage warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and issuance of equipment and materials
• Ensure correct handling and storage of HVDC components in line with preservation, storage and safety standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks
• Organize logistics, packing, transportation, and on-site distribution of goods
• Supervise warehouse staff and logistics providers
• Implement HSE and quality standards in all warehouse activities

Requirements:

• Completed technical or commercial education (logistics, engineering, administration, or related field)
• Professional experience in preservation or maintenance of sensitive equipment and warehouse management on largescale industrial projects (energy, oil & gas, construction preferred)
• Knowledge of HVDC or high-voltage equipment handling is an advantage
• Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Experience with document and warehouse management systems (ERP, DMS, MTA, IM2, Thinkproject, Autodesk etc.) is beneficial
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
• Flexibility, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work in international project team
