Responsibilities

Operative Pricing

  • Regular pricing of all Configure to Order (CtO) products / articles
  • Price List reviews with the the different Portfolio Manager twice a year
  • Preparation and release of the price list according to New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle
  • Strong alignment with Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) Team including handover of pricelist documents
  • Support the built of pricing capability of the local sales teams

Strategic Pricing

  • Drive and moderate Robotics Price Board where all rlevant Price Informations are taken by Robotics TOP Management
  • Global Sales counterpart for Controlling and Portfolio Manager regarding all Pricing Topics
  • Strategic guidance and steering of all global Product Managers to “find” the right prices for their products
  • Drive definition process and implementation of multi-channel pricing strategies, e.g., distribution and e-commerce
  • Develop and execute global price improvement measures incl. management of the price increase process

Pricing Infrastructure

  • Responsibility for pricing part in the Product Information Management (PIM) System
  • Support and optimization of pricing interfaces between CRM, ERP and PIM system
  • Constant further development and optimization of the existing pricing system landscape is also part of your area of responsibility
  • Training of sales in regards of price negotiation and understanding of pricing impacts

Pricing Analysis

  • Monitor pricing performance, execution and take corrective action in cooperation with the business to achieve the business objectives
  • Setup Price Intelligence by gaining and structuring Price Informations from different sources and report them to Management
  • Analysis of price and discount developments in different customer segments

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

  • Sucessfully completed degree in business, economics, mathematic or related field
  • Minimum +3 years professional experience in sales or pricing or sales operations of an international company
  • CRM (esp. Salesforce) and ERP (esp. SAP) knowledge benefitable
  • Advanced handling of the MS Office applications Excel, Access and PPT
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong knowledge of analytical toolkit (Excel and SQL ); Python, R, Tableau and others are a plus
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex pricing topics in a clear manner and get the buy-in of sales teams
  • Strong intercultural competence and you are familiar to work within an international working environment
  • Good analytical knowledge and problem-solving ability as well as high affinity to numbers
  • Structured and results-oriented way of working
  • Excellent team player and an effective communicator both verbally and written in German & English
  • Mobility and willingness to travel from time to time
