Job Description

The Global Sales & Product Operations team at Delivery Hero drives the success of multiple Sales KPIs through Products. These include new restaurant acquisition, new restaurant onboarding, existing restaurant retention and account management for existing restaurants. Our focus is to drive success of business KPIs mainly through Product interventions. That’s what gives us scale to work with millions of restaurants globally. We are looking for a Principal, Global Sales & Product Operations. This is an Individual Contributor role (at start) reporting to Senior Director of Global Sales & Product Operations.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Product and Commercial Strategy: Work with Product Managers, bring business and data mindset to help build the right products/ prioritize right features. Examples: improving recommendation for Next Best Action for Account Managers, improving conversion of Self Signup funnel to increase restaurant acquisitions, working with cross functional teams to improve Sales and Account Management incentives, building & executing the Go To Market strategy for new product launches, and many more.

2. Sales Product Operations: Heavy execution; implement the strategy with cross-functional stakeholders—Product team, Regional & Country teams, and other Central teams focusing on different aspects of the restaurant journey with Delivery Hero (e.g. business growth of existing restaurants, AdTech, International markets).

3. High impact projects: Enable the Global Sales and Product Operations team to pick and drive ambiguous topics. Provide flexibility and independence to pick & drive high impact topics in a timebound project style, deliver results, then move on to the next high impact project.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Consulting (Senior Associate / Engagement Manager level in one of the Tier 1 consulting firms)
  • Extensive experience working with senior management / leadership teams (including C-level)
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity, and ability to bring structure and data driven prioritization to any unstructured problem
  • Strong communicator, with ability to be both top down and bottom up, as the situation demands
  • Strong mix of both strategy and operations / execution, with proven experience of both
  • Can-do attitude. Takes on any new / complex problem and has ability to figure it out independently.
