As a Principal International Law - maternity cover (m/f/d) , you will be a part of the HQ Legal team and take ownership of complex global projects, driving governance, international legal coordination, and strategic decision-making while partnering with teams worldwide. You’ll lead multi‑layered negotiations, manage international entities, shape legal processes, and support the Flix Group’s rapid global growth.

About the Role

• Independently manage complex global legal matters and steer multi‑stream project processes, providing strategic legal advice to management and leading high‑stakes negotiations
• Drive corporate governance and international entity management, including capital increases, director changes, powers of attorney, and groupwide Rules of Procedure
• Coordinate international legal workstreams, leading reporting with local legal leads, managing global escalations, and shaping the annual international legal strategy
• Prepare and oversee Management Board approvals and support decision‑making for local entity requests across the global organization
• Improve and maintain legal processes, policies, and governance frameworks, including the rollout of tools and new feature implementations in collaboration with the INTL Group
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel worldwide to ensure efficient execution of global projects and consistent legal support across regions
• Provide cross‑functional legal guidance on localization and international aspects of global initiatives in partnership with HQ legal teams

About You

• 8+ years of proven experience as a qualified lawyer, gained in a law firm and/or in‑house role, ideally within an internationally scaled legal environment
• Proficiency in German and English
• Strong analytical, organizational, and commercial skillset, with the ability to navigate complex legal structures and issues
• Proven record in contract drafting, negotiation, and project management, delivering high‑quality outcomes in fast‑paced settings
• Autonomy in managing workload and delivering against ambitious timelines across multiple regions
• Mindset aligned with a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and rapidly evolving environment
• Communication and collaboration ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders worldwide
